NAVL driver with input and comments - North American Van ...
Cons: Used old boxes packed by owners, often cannot support weight and are not packed correctly. NAVL The Bottom Line: I reccomend NAVL however like i said your driver and origin agent are the ones who really matter. I am a contracted driver for NAVL and have advise and comments. I have been working in the moving business for two years now. Meaning NAVL pays me do load, drive, and unload your goods. This is common if you are moving across state lines. I have very little to do with the office or people who may have estimated your shipment. I rarely ever speak with the people you have made arrangements with. Don't be alarmed we work hard pay for our fuel, taxes and labor. As far as meeting our expected times we try but many obstacles are in our path. And I Travel allot and I mean allot slower then a car through town. So Yes I have been a couple hours late and even a day late. In every town everywhere I go I have no idea who my labor is going to be. All I know is that I am going to work hard and fast. So when using a Moving Company in your future moves. If you have any concerns speak with the driver always. And speak out, try and prevent a problem if you can. One time I moved a household out of a trashy apartment and did not use floor protection. At the end of the day the Lady of the house pointed this out, and made me pay for her carpet. Keep the drivers cell phone number and let him/her know the second something arises. I have to hire, and cancel labor 24 hrs in advance. Let them know what you expect and what you want done. This is so important, If you have delicate items or anything high value point it out. If you complain to the office they will probably never relay that message back to the driver. Yes taking stuff apart is important however it is better if left to us unless you want to put it back together. Let us know as soon as you arrive at your destination weather the semi will make it down your road. And the most important part be organized at your origin. Have the boxes packed and everything ready to go out the door. The driver, the selling agent, estimator, and helpers all make it either a great experience or miserable. And I will continue to read your "epinions" as they help me understand the problems and how customers react. Thank you for reading this long epinions article I hope it was informative. You should confirm all information before relying on it.
