Notice on New Jersey

“The Garden State” (as New Jersey is often called) is in the Mid-Atlantic area of the country and is bordered heavily to the east and south by the Atlantic Ocean. Additionally, New Jersey is bordered to the north and northeast by New York, to the south and southwest by Delaware, and to the west by Pennsylvania.

It might surprise some to know that New Jersey is one of the nation’s smallest states in area, ranking 47th out of 50. Due to New Jersey being within the New York City and Philadelphia metro areas, the state is quite populated (11th in the nation). In fact, New Jersey is first in the United States in population density, with Newark being the state’s largest city. Although the capital, Trenton, is much smaller, New Jersey is a great place for city slickers to consider relocating in order to escape the rat race.
