Oregon is Loaded

Oregon is a place of one-of-a-kind scenic beauty, from over 360 stunning miles of Pacific Ocean coastlines to desert areas to the rugged Cascade Mountains to Crater Lake National Park to Mount Hood to even rain forests. Yes, that is all in one state. Located in the Pacific Northwest, Oregon hugs the Pacific Ocean to the west, is topped to the north by Washington state, borders Idaho to the east, Nevada to the very southeastern tip and the south, and California to the southwest.

It is no wonder, based on Oregon’s very diverse landscape, that it is a very large state in area: 9th in the nation. The Beaver State—as Oregon is often called—is also the country’s 27th most populated state. Portland, home of the state’s only professional sports team, the NBA’s Trail Blazers, is the largest city in Oregon, while Salem is the capital city. A great state for the nature-lover, urban hipster and everything in between, Oregon has shown thousands of newly-relocated residents why it is one of the nation’s most livable states.
