Pennsylvania, one of the locations of the founding of the Union, is a state bursting with history, culture, attractions, scenery, and All-American spirit. Dubbed “The Keystone State” due to its historical significance—the Declaration of Independence was signed there and PA was the young nation’s second state, for instance—Pennsylvania is located in the mid-Atlantic region of the country and borders a variety of states: New York to the north, New Jersey to the east, Delaware, Maryland and West Virginia to the south, and Ohio to the west.
