Feeling Florida?

It doesn’t take a genius to understand why Florida is known as “The Sunshine State.” A warm climate with beautiful beaches and gorgeous scenery helps bring Florida over 80 million tourists a year as well as the thousands of people who relocate to the state.

Located in the country’s southeastern region, Florida borders Georgia to the north and Alabama to the northwest. Because most of the actual land in the state is a peninsula, it is surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean to the east and the Gulf of Mexico to the west. Florida’s population is quite large; it’s the fourth most populous state in the U.S. to be exact. “The Sunshine State” has many large cities and urban areas, including Jacksonville (Florida’s most populated city), Miami (largest metro area), Tampa, St. Petersburg, Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, and the state’s capital, Tallahassee.
